ECHOES-OER

Echoes' OERs

The ECHOES project has led to the creation of OERs – Open Educational Resources, which constitute an accessible online archive. The ECHOES OERs include the Toolkit and the Pilot Training Course for teachers and trainers, with resources available for free, modifiable, and redistributable by users, in accordance with the UNESCO’s 5R principles, which include:
  • Reuse: Content can be reused in its original format.
  • Retain: Copies of the content can be kept for personal archives.
  • Revise: Content can be modified or adapted for specific needs.
  • Remix: Content can be combined with other materials to create something new.
  • Redistribute: Content can be shared with others, either in its original or modified form.

Toolkit

The Toolkit offers a collection of practical tools and methods designed to address the specific needs of trainers, mentors, and other professionals in the field of training.

It is organized around the thematic areas outlined in the “European Framework for the Digital Competence of Educators” (DigCompEdu), which have been adapted to align with the requirements of online training. Additionally, these areas have been further tailored to reflect the specific contexts of the European countries represented in the ECHOES project consortium: Austria, Italy, Slovenia, and Spain.

The Toolkit is primarily intended for trainers and mentors, but it also serves associations, training centers, trainer communities, and other professionals involved in the Vocational Education and Training (VET) system.

ECHOES MOOC (Training Courses)

The ECHOES MOOC is tailored to provide trainers and mentors in Vocational Education and Training (VET) systems with the foundational knowledge and competencies necessary for successful digital and distance learning. Built upon the six core domains of the Digital Competence Framework for Educators (DigCompEdu), this course offers a well-rounded strategy for advancing digital teaching practices.

Closely integrated with the ECHOES Toolkit, the MOOC facilitates the hands-on application of online training strategies, promoting innovation and inclusivity within the VET sector.
